SONCAP is a new policy implemented by the Federal Government of Nigeria to check and control the export of substandard, unsafe products into the country.

The objective of implementing SONCAP is to ensure that regulated products meet the relevant requirements of acceptable standards and to facilitate the management of regulated products by the relevant government bodies with regulatory responsibility for product quality.
